Rieth-Riley Construction Wins PentaVision’s “What’s Your Story?” ContestRieth-Riley Construction has been selected as the 2009 winner of PentaVision Integrated Digital Media’s “What’s Your Story?” Contest. The contest was a forum for Michiana businesses, organizations, employees and community members to submit stories and nominations on positive stories impacting the business community in the area. As the winner, Rieth-Riley, of Goshen, Indiana, received an organizational video produced by the PentaVision team highlighted on this page.As with any contest of this magnitude, the nominations were many, and selecting a winner was difficult. Ryan Geist, President of PentaVision, echoed that sentiment. “It was a very difficult choice to make because we had some great story submissions. The Rieth-Riley Construction story really stood out. Our judges agreed that Rieth-Riley’s dedication to its employees and the community was really the tipping point for the selection as winner.” Rieth-Riley is a 100% employee-owned company, meaning each employee is responsible for and directly benefits from the company’s success. Annually, the company celebrates its unique ownership structure with open houses, charitable events, and employee-oriented events in all locations throughout Indiana and Michigan. In 2009, Rieth-Riley’s local offices decided to forgo the open houses and employee-oriented events and focused solely on a food drive for three local food pantries: the Window (Goshen), Faith Mission (Elkhart) and St. Margaret’s House (South Bend). The video talks with Reith-Riley employees about their dedication to this project and also features one of the charities that benefitted form their generosity, St, Margaret’s House. Jennifer Montel, a PC Technician for Reith-Riley submitted their company’s story and shared these thoughts, “When I first heard about the "What's Your Story?" Contest I knew this was something that Reith-Riley wanted to enter and support. We have seen first-hand how the economy has affected people in our community and one of the ways we wanted to give back was to hold a food drive for a local charity. The success of the food drive was overwhelming, and seeing the impact we had on others in our community made it even more special. With all of the bad news happening in our area, this one had a happy ending and we were so lucky to have PentaVision tell this story for us. It was great winning the contest, but even better knowing Reith-Riley helped those in need in our community.” PentaVision Integrated Digital Media, Inc. is a full service digital media solutions company based in South Bend, Indiana, providing video and web production, marketing strategy, graphic design and digital retailing services.
