Local Media Firm Adds New Sony D35 Camera for Exceptional Picture Control and Quality

South Bend, Indiana - August 8, 2003 -  PentaVision Communications, Inc. has added a Sony D35 digital Betacam SP camera to its arsenal of production tools for its clients.

This camera uses Sony DSP technology with Power HAD CCD’s for amazing video quality and also gives you creative image control through several menu pages and set-up files. You can alter your detail level (can decrease it for more of a film look), adjust gamma, saturation and hue (which can all be adjusting to replicate the characteristics of film).

It has skin tone detail (softens wrinkles and bad complexion), black stretch and compress (affects shadow detail level), clear scan (for matching computer screens so they don’t roll) and many other user options to control your image. It’s also capable of shooting both 16:9 and 4:3 aspect ratios.

Right now, it’s docked with the industry standard Beta SP recorder but it’s capable of docking with Beta SX or DVCAM recording decks if the client needs that.

PentaVision Communications, Inc. is a full service media solutions company based in South Bend, Indiana, providing producer, location production, non-linear editing, DVD Authoring, and many other media solutions for its broad base of clients.
