FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Regional Digital Media Firm Captures Two National Telly AwardsSouth Bend, Indiana - July 8, 2009 - PentaVision Communications, Inc. has recently been awarded two Bronze Telly Awards in the 30th annual video awards competition. PentaVision received one award in the category of Direct Marketing for a point-of-purchase video for NIBCO’s Basic Radiant Heat product. This video will be displayed at select retailers that will utilize small video displays on the shelving to feature NIBCO’s heating systems. Jim Hilfinger, Vice President of Retail Sales brought together the NIBCO and PentaVision teams to collaborate on the project. “We were challenged with creating awareness and driving sales leads on a new product category that would not be stocked by the retailer. The end users would not be able to touch and feel the products, nor would there be a knowledgeable salesperson available to provide assistance,” Hilfinger explained. “We were looking for an innovative way to educate end users on the benefits of NIBCO Basic Radiant® heating systems and the PentaVision shelf talker solution offered product knowledge and product selection information at the touch of a button putting the end user in control.” PentaVision also received the second Bronze Telly in the category of Charitable/Not-for-Profit for Peak Community Services of Logansport, Indiana. Peak Community Services provides daytime, residential and other life skills services to developmentally disabled children and adults in Cass, Pulaski and surrounding communities in Indiana. “This video will be used as part of our regular fund development campaign. Peak Community Services is the only agency in the State of Indiana that is raising money to support the thousands of individuals with developmental disabilities who remain on waiting lists,” said Kathi Thompson, Director of Development and Communications. "Those who have been declared eligible for services sometimes have to wait for up to 10 years or longer for support from the State. Peak Community Services created a Foundation to raise, manage and distribute funds to provide services during that 10-year interim period, and this video will be an integral part of the Foundation’s efforts to raise funds.” The Telly Awards honors creative excellence for Communications Professionals. Entries are judged by top industry professionals that are past winners. There were over 13,000 entries from the finest advertising agencies, production companies, TV Stations, interactive agencies and corporations in this 2009 video competition.
